About this role

We’re hiring Quantity Surveyor, for a leading MNC for EPC of AQCS to join their growing team. This position is based out in Farakka, West Bengal location.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare processed work, determining the needed quantities and prepare required reports as per Report Frequency List;
  • Conduct Quantity Surveying Process According to the technical standards;
  • Expert in surveying machine total station and Leica brand;
  • Responsible for study of BOQ (Bill of Quantity) as per specifications and taking out quantities from drawings;
  • Communicate with Engineering Department or Sub-agencies to changes and adjustments of quantities according to business needs;
  • Preparation and Certification of RA bills;
  • Identification and preparation of extra items;
  • Preparation of monthly reconciliation statement of all building material;
  • Responsible for verification of certified RA bills;
  • Preparing all billing records and marinating it. Proper entering of bills without errors;
  • Preparing RA Bills for the Projects (Client and Sub Contractor bills) on Monthly basis;
  • Material Reconciliation: - To check theoretical consumption of steel, cement & other material supplied free of cost to the contractor and make recovery in case of excess Consumption & wastage;
  • Manage, supervise sub-agencies on site and advise on civil engineering issues;
  • Prepares engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans, and schedules;
  • Auto-Cad Proficiency;
  • Conversant with International Codes and Standards;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Experience in creating work breakdown structure (WBS)- translate requirements into tasks.

Requirements

  • Civil Engineer having 5-10 Years of suitable experience in handling Quantity Survey, Estimation, Preparation of Bar Bending Schedule, Billing, etc. Power Project Construction;
  • Bachelor/Master of Engineering in Civil engineering from reputed college / Universities;
  • Extensive familiarity on Technical Civil / Structural and Quantity Surveying;
  • Min. 5-10 years of Civil / Structural and Quantity Survey Scope of Works for Construction Projects.
