Brunel is currently searching for a positive and experienced Sr. Human Resources Business Partner for direct hire with our client in Rochester Hills, Michigan. If you have a passion for people and the ability to lead all HR functions, we have a great opportunity available for you.

In this role as Senior Human Resources Business Partner you will be responsible for being a hands-on leader of all HR programs within the Rochester Hills location including recruiting, employee development, performance management and will main point of contact for all employee relations topics. The Position will support approximately 100 professional/technical employees. This role reports to an HR Director in another location.

Duties:

  • Assist in developing and implementing new and revised policies and procedures
  • Coordinate performance management and appraisal process
  • Actively engage in overall recruiting processes in effort to find candidates for open positions
  • Main point of contact for all employee relation topics including performance issues, terminations and promotions
  • Gather and analyze HR metrics
  • Coordinate immigration related tasks for employee sponsorships
  • Create internal communications regarding new hires, status changes and company policies
  • Conduct new hire onboarding
  • Maintain employee records in ADP
  • Supervisory responsibilities of recruiting coordinator

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Administration or related field
  • 5+ years in HR related experience with advanced knowledge of all aspects of HR Management
  • 2+ years recruiting experience
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Must have stable work history
  • Requires outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of the organization
  • Previous experience with an automotive supplier desired
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S., sponsorship is not available for this position
