Brunel are seeking a Contracts & Procurement Specialist to join a global leader in the resource sector, based in the Peel region. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the procurement function for capital projects, executing developed strategies and aligning contracts, purchase orders and process improvements across multiple sites.

This role, you will be expected to:

  • Manage capital project procurement lifecycle, delivering strategies to ensure project goals are met.
  • Contracts negotiation, ensuring alignment with project and procurement strategies.
  • Supplier and customer relationship management, responding to and resolving commercial issues.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for cost reduction and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure procurement compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in procurement, purchasing, business or equivalent.
  • Experience across full procurement lifecycle from sourcing, scope and tender development, contract negotiation, through to close out.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and analytical tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence.
  • Capital project delivery experience.
